In our first tale, we venture into a dark area from which nothing good can come. That's right, a subreddit. And in this particular subreddit, a group of people share a habit that seems innocent enough. But in this tale, shared with us by author Johnny Butori, one member shares of how the group devolved into behaviors that will make your skin crawl. Performing this gruesome tale is Jeff Clement. The thing people have trouble understanding, no, that they aren't willing to accept, is that everything, everything we did was consensual. No one who was there, who took part, didn't want... But I'm getting ahead of myself. For me, it started innocuous enough with oranges. I loved the tactility of separating the pith from the pulp, using my teeth to break the envelope and let the white fall away, leaving the sweet, juicy flesh free and unmarred by that bitterness. Clementines were the starter pack once I graduated away from canned mandarins and their agonizingly saccharine syrup.
