That clearly stood out. How much of that is sustainable? Was it a one and done like Ben against Indy back in 2020 when he was running sort of a pop gun offense and then for one half, Against the Colts, they went crazy getting the ball down the field, but it proved to be not sustainable. Is this... I don't know. And the reason I don't know is because Rodgers, I think, played the best game he's played all year.
And he just was making some unbelievable throws. I mean, you look at the first throw to Metcalf, the second throw to Metcalf, the throw to Austin, great throws.

The big play to open the second half, I mean, he had seven seconds to throw the ball. Metcalf runs up there across the field. I mean, are those really super sustainable? I don't know. I do think utilizing Metcalf like this is sustainable. They should be utilizing him, giving him more jump ball opportunities. I mean, I don't know if people realize this.
How sustainable is the performance of Aaron Rodgers in recent games?
The first play of the game, the 52-yard reception, was the same play that Mason Rudolph threw his first interception against the Bears on. And it was just a better ball. I think that was something you saw. So super sustainable. I'm not sure, but I think that they can utilize DK Metcalf more dynamically like they did in this game. They were getting him away from coverage more, utilizing the doubles a little bit better to get other guys open so the Ravens kind of stood away from those and allowed DK to really get those deep passing game going. If you were going to focus on the run game, which the Ravens did, they stacked the boxes and said, you're not going to run the ball on us. Well, then you have to hit them over the top with DK Metcalf, and that's exactly what the Steelers did.
Yeah, man. I mean, that changes everything and forces teams to respect it. Do you think on that touchdown throw to Jalen Warren, the one where three Steelers went into the end zone together before any Raven got there, that that was something that was schemed up beforehand or that Rodgers recognized something at the line of scrimmage? I think it was partially a schemed-up play, but I do think Rodgers kind of had the sprint-out part of that. That was him, seeing that he kind of slanted away from where the blitz was. I mean, they mugged up the double-A gaps. When you saw it, they just brought everyone into the middle, and no one was out in the flat. That's really what happened. No one followed Fryermuth either, as you mentioned.
He would have had a touchdown. And so they saw the cover zero coming from the mile away. It was going to be man to man all the way across. And the Ravens didn't even do that correctly. They miscommunicated on that, too. So when we have been talking all year about the Ravens and the Steelers this year are really similar, aren't they? Well, you saw that man loan coverage, loan coverage. It's unbelievable, those two franchises. They showed the graphic before the game, like the points are practically even in Harbaugh-Tomlin. Although, to Tomlin's credit, he's pretty much drilled Harbaugh lately. Of course, the notable exception is a playoff game, which matters more than all the others combined.
