We did a team quiz show for possibly the first time ever, and maybe Joe will decide the last time ever. Although Austin came up big on the question that tied things up, so...
I don't know if Joe would want to reject a partnership down the road. I teamed up with the general. Joe teamed up with Austin. Joe lost yet again. He's on quite the losing skid, Austin. I think I'm up like 8-2. I think it is 8-2. On Joe so far.
this season we just can't beat you donnie you're like thanos i i i felt pretty good about a lot of those questions sean sean made it a bit easier than he did last week it was very difficult uh we were squirming last week in the studio when sean was throwing us some of those questions donnie do you remember the first coach of the baltimore ravens ted marchabrota that is correct yeah see i know it now i know it now because it was seared into my brain after the embarrassment of last friday uh

Chapter 2: What are the latest charges against Sherrone Moore?
You do not want to risk it with a collapse long. Yeah, and again, I feel like they are okay to keep him out on Monday. I know that we don't know for sure if it will go into the game against the Lions or not. But I certainly feel like they have the guys in place that can step up and play well. So Rappaport has given a little bit more of a detailed explanation about
He is expected to play again this season following the surgery and after a dry needling treatment. And Rappaport said that sometimes this heals on its own, but this did not, and that's why surgery was necessary. But a full recovery is expected. Got it. Okay. So, I mean, we can basically rule him out on Monday. Sean, you can bring that music back. It's all right. Hey, I could stay.
Oh, we've been told to pot it down for a moment. for a specific reason. So Sean, you can take that advice that you were told. But let's continue with the Steeler talk here on The Breakdown with Minka Fitzpatrick. Welcome back to Pittsburgh, Donnie. What impact do you think Minka will have? Will he have an interception in this game?
Will Minka be noticeable or will he be 30 yards from the line of scrimmage playing center field right near the wall about to catch a 399-foot fly ball? I think he'll play a little bit more of an impact than what he did in his last season here. I don't think he will have to play that center field spot getting ready to chase down a home run ball. But I don't think it'll be a major impact.
I don't think he'll have a game-changing play. He could because it seems like he is kind of back to that spot to do so with the Dolphins. I wonder how the reception will be in the stadium when he does make a play, whether it's something as simple as a tackle and Larry Richard announces it that Fitzpatrick was in on the tackle for Miami.
I did wonder, and I do have curiosity as to what his return reception will be. Do people think negatively of him, or do they think this guy was a three-time All-Pro player at safety for us, and maybe I'm not devastated he's gone, but it's also a player that I certainly don't have any ill will about, Yeah, I think probably more so the latter.
It's not like Minka was like George Pickens showing up late to things and doing things on the field that were making people just so upset and saying that he's a distraction. He's becoming a bother in the locker room. From what we know, other than communication issues in the secondary... Minka was a pretty good locker room piece, and maybe the Steelers just did not utilize him well enough.

Chapter 3: Who could potentially replace Sherrone Moore at Michigan?
So I don't expect any boos or anything when Minka makes a tackle or he's announced on the PA. Probably a mixed reception with some cheers and just some people that are quiet saying to the buddy next to them, oh, Minka, yeah, he's back. And he very well could have one of those plays that he had. You know, I think of his first year here, that was a special one.
That was the season that Big Ben got hurt, and that was really an opportunity that the Steelers had to decide, you know, do we want to just kind of mail this thing in? Do we want to try to make some sort of impact on the other side of the ball that will help us? That was a shocking trade at the time. Both trades involving Minka.
were very shocking because the first one was one that they never did before. They traded first-round picks, and they got Minka back in return. He paid immediate dividends, had an all-pro season, was all over the field. He had an interception in his first game. He had that pick six against the Colts. That went nearly the entire length of the field.
He had a touchdown against the Rams later that season. So many high-impact plays. and then the trade this past summer where they moved on. Austin, you and I were on the air. When that happened, and we were both stunned that that trade went down. So both trades that involved him were stunning ones. I really think you're right. Probably some sort of mixed reaction.
I don't think there's any reason for a guy like him coming back to get boo birds or anything. This isn't like a George Pickens return or even like a Deontay Johnson return. It just ran its course. He never threw a Pittsburgh under the bus like other people have. I think that's why it'll just be kind of a mole little moment whenever he is announced.
My second of three Steelers question for you, Donnie. Who has the quarterback advantage in this one? Tua Tungvalu with Miami or Aaron Rodgers with the Steelers? Because I personally think that Tua is an overrated quarterback, not even factoring in the weather. Like, things have to go well for him. Good O-line, weapons healthy. Tyreek Hill is obviously not.
Like, how much will Waddle be featured in this one? I think that the Steelers have it with Rodgers because I'm just not comfortable at all in what Miami has in Tua. It wouldn't surprise me if they move on from him at some point, even though he has that big contract. I do, too, because I, like you, I don't think a ton of Tua. I mean, he's a quarterback that can probablyā
get you to nine or ten wins. I mean, they had a really nice season a couple of years ago, that first McDaniel season where they lost to Kansas City in the playoffs. But he's one of those guys that in big games he doesn't play well, and in bad and or cold weather he doesn't play well. Donnie, he's making $53 million a year. When it was signed, it was the second highest contract in NFL history.
Yeah, no thanks. For Tua. No, no thanks at all. Just a bad way to spend your money. My third Steelers question for you involves the trade that you brought up. Jonu Smith, Jalen Ramsey in return. Will either of those two Steelers be on next year's team that were acquired from Miami? I feel pretty good saying Ramsey will.
