You know, this retirement stuff is a little bit underrated, so I'm real excited to get on with you and talk basketball. Do you play golf, Ron? Yeah, I do, actually. I'm horrible, but I like to play. I'm horrible, too, but we should play in West Virginia, especially if you belong to a country club.
I do not, but I can make sure that we get on some of the better ones. The one really good one down here is Pete Dye up in Bridgeport. Oh, yes. It's phenomenal. I just realized you're on YouTube. Limits, why didn't you tell me that Ron was right in front of me here? I didn't know that I could see him. He's on the YouTube channel. I thought I did, and he looks great. Well, I tell you what, I do need glasses, and I need for you guys to – I need to apologize for my bifocal wearing because I've watched so many bad officials and had so many tough games that Duquesne go against me and hurt my eyes.
I understand. Well, we all have our brackets here and we've got tons of questions, Ron. So let's jump right in here. First of all, let's do it. We all want to look smart. So give me a couple underdog teams, some lower seated teams that I can run with here. Are you okay with Miami of Ohio being in the tournament? And are you okay with where they were put and might they make a run? They're absolutely going to make a run. I love Miami of Ohio. I've watched them several times this year. And, you know, collectively, they really shoot the ball. And I've got this theory in college basketball, especially in tournament play, where teams that are hard to prepare for that you don't or you can't really assimilate that style in practice, I think it makes for teams that –
can jump out at you as lower-seeded teams and make a tournament run because their style is different. You know, like the old Princeton teams, Jay Wright's Villanova guys. You know, I think that – or at least Jay Wright in the early days. I think that what happens is, is that – You know, when you can't simulate their style and practice, it makes it really hard. Great pressing teams, Princeton offense-style teams. I think that led to a lot of John Beeline success in the tournament, you know, over the years because they were so different. And I think Miami's different in that they shoot the ball collectively so well and they spread you out on offense so well that if, in fact, they can – get good shots, make good shots, and not run up against one of those teams that –
is just so good at running you off the line or so good collectively defensively that they can take away that particular facet of the game, they're going to win a bunch of games. They're going to make a run. I actually felt that way about TCU and Utah State until I saw where they got seeded. And I thought those guys got, you know, they were seeded, I thought, extraordinarily low for the type of teams that they had this year in both of those teams. Well, yeah, Jamie's team, that's going to be interesting, goes up against Ohio State. What about somebody else? Give me one other one. Anybody from Prairie View A&M to Tennessee State to Idaho? Give me a 14, 15, or 16 that I should be looking at here. Siena, Long Island.
That's where I was born, Northport, Long Island. There you go. Long Island guy. But what a story they are. What a great story they are to get in the tournament and have a great year. You know, I think Queens College as a 15 has a chance. I really like their team. Their coach is very good, and he's had a history of success.
