So, yeah, the UFC is obviously, you know, the number one brand of MMA fighting globally. But I think the gap right now between number one and number two, which is PFL, is smaller than it's been in a long, long time. PFL acquired Bellator in 2023, which was another competitor. And that allowed them to really balloon the roster and find the highest level talent that's out there. Can you kick somebody in the nuts or no? No, you are not allowed to do that, and also pokes to the eye are not allowed. So that's it, just kicks to the groin and pokes to the eye? That's it, anything else goes? Yep, pretty much, pretty much. And I guess that's the attraction, is pure unadulterated violence. That's become very popular.

Yeah, yeah, I think that's certainly what they're hoping for. And, you know, once PFL was able to sign on with ESPN, it really started to open the windows for how they were able to get that reach. And then, of course, UFC moved on to Paramount, so now PFL is ESPN's. number one MMA product. So it's definitely on the rise. And I think it's going to be a big year for PFL. So if I go to this thing as a newbie, a novice, I'm going to sit there and just watch people pound each other into oblivion with bare knuckles, am I? Is that the thing? They have very small padded gloves that help there. But yeah, that's pretty much it. Just the gloves and the cups. And they're out there putting it all on the line. And, you know, everyone has different styles.
You see guys that are more wrestling centric and they'll get you to the ground. Guys that, you know, have thunder in their hands and they're looking to land the knockout. And then you see a lot of submissions and, you know, it's sort of a blending of, of all these different disciplines to create the best kind of fight atmosphere. So gloves and a cup. That's all I got. And then I can scratch and claw. Are there rules as to how long my nails can be? I can kick. I can punch. I can elbow. I can knee. I can do anything I want. I can gouge your lips apart. I can pull your teeth out. I can punch you in the ear. Anything I want, right? Yeah. Just about. I don't know that scratching is very common in MMA, but yeah, elbows, knees, everything like that is going to be flying at the highest level.
Limits, I think if you and I engage in an MMA match, I might try to scratch you to death. I think you'd probably go right for my eyes, yes. That's illegal. No eye gouging and no kicking in the nuts. Yeah, I don't think that would stop you from at least attempting.
