And a new realestate.com.au report reveals 10 suburbs that are in demand from highly engaged buyers. And there are some unfamiliar names on the list, many of which were recording 100 times more online engagement from buyers than the national average. Now, Blaxland in the Blue Mountains topped the list of the 10 suburbs for online engagement. Wollongong proved an area on the rise.

Nice to have you on the show. So tell me a little bit about what's happened here. You've been looking to buy. Is that kind of the way that it went Callum? You kind of went outside some of these areas and you found yourself the place to buy. Yeah, so we obviously, we started off just by saving hard and we ended up in a small townhouse in a suburb six minutes away called Cromer.

We started there about 10, 11 months ago and renovated that property. So we bought it and it was a bit under the weather to say the least. And we brought it back to its former glory by putting new bathrooms in, doing the floors, painting and changing doors, et cetera, building outdoor area.

with the profit we made from that house was able to get a freestanding house and now we're in the process of renovating this one over at beacon hill Yeah, so Beacon Hill. Now, has that surprised you in terms of just the movement on property prices and the interest in Beacon Hill? Oh, it's insane.

So at auction day, there was probably about 15 plus buyers that was looking to purchase the property. Yeah, it was just insane. It was a bit of a battle. We managed to get there in the end. Tell me a little bit about this because you're probably going to have to keep a watchful eye because you guys are wanting to do a flip on the house. Yeah, it's been an interesting ride really. So when we got to this house, it obviously needed to be fully renovated and we've been living here throughout. So it's been a little bit challenging. We've had to be creative with the way that we live.
