The case alleges he violated California corporate law in a number of ways and accuses Musk of wrongful conduct as his false statements and market manipulation have created chaos at Twitter's headquarters in San Francisco. You might remember I said a couple of weeks ago I didn't think this deal was going to happen.

Twitter shares are now 27% lower than Musk's $54 offer price and analysts have speculated that Musk may be looking for ways to lower his takeover offer or walk away from the deal. And I'll make another prediction, Musk is probably highly likely to lose that court case. It's the main centre forecast with propertybuyer.com.au. All right, let's have a look at your weather around Australia.

So I'm very adaptable. Well, I don't know why anybody would find you intimidating. Adaptable is great to hear. But what about property? What are your thoughts around that? Yes, I love property.

Chapter 2: Who is the new member joining the Real Estate Podcast?

397.734 - 419.422

It was very weird. A trip down memory lane. So tell me a little bit about, like the market is obviously changing, so that has worked in your favour by the sound of things with you purchasing this old property that you used to live in? Yeah, so my partner and I were quite lucky. We bought a property pre-COVID.

419.462 - 437.046

So obviously then since the housing boom, we built obviously a lot of equity in our own place. So that obviously helped us then purchasing this house. And then I think it was kind of good timing as well with the interest rates. I think people obviously got a little bit scared. So yeah, I'm actually very surprised that everything just kind of fell into place.

0

437.33 - 460.564

Well, it's a great result for you and you're under 30, so you're building a bit of a portfolio. So what's coming up next for you? Oh, I don't really know, to be honest. I don't know. We want to just kind of maybe redo the floors, paint it and do that. And then we still got a little bit to fix up on our place. And then, yeah, maybe another one. I'm not sure. We'll have to see how we go.

460.584 - 483.29

And how many of your friends, Gemma, are still struggling to buy their first home? Yeah, quite a few actually. I count my blessings every day that we were homeowners pre-COVID. I just think it'd be so hard as a first homeowner buyer right now to get into the market with all these auctions and yeah, just the banks, it's just a lot. The deposits are Yeah. Yeah.

0

483.31 - 508.798

Well, you're a homeowner, so you are on the property ladder. Hey, thanks so much for spending a little bit of time with us on this Saturday morning to go down that memory lane and all the best moving forward. Thank you so much for having me.
