In this episode, we learn that he did not always know that science was the path he would take; he wanted to be a medical doctor. However that career choice did not work out. He did infact stay in the medical field by pursuing his undergraduate degree in biomedical science in Togo. Yannick discusses his academic journey, which includes pursuing his first Masters degree in China. Currently pursuing his second master's degree in medicinal plant research and drug development in Nigeria. He tells us briefly about the research he plans to conduct.
