Today I am welcoming guest Vicki Mainetti (a past client of mine) to the Food Freedom Lab to share her personal story of recovering from binge eating. Vicki is a 31 year old living in Connecticut with her husband, 2 cats, and a dog. She is a kindergarten teacher and a military spouse. Due to her husband Josh being in the Marine Corps, Vicki has moved a lot and has lived in Connecticut, North Carolina, and New Jersey. She has a passion for teaching, shopping, getting outside with her dog, and riding her Peloton bike. Wellness has always been a part of her life, but recovery has meant shifting her focus to see wellness as a whole as a balance of mental, physical, and emotional health.
