She is a community activist and currently running for Houston City Council District D. She is the number one sought after marketing manager, brand strategist and motivational speaker in Houston, Texas. She has worked with big brands such as Oprah, Disney, Famous Footwear, ULTA, Cirque Du Soleil, Toyota, Wired Magazine, Gentleman’s Jack Whiskey and Kellogg’s. After experiencing a decade of homelessness, her mother murdered and never have met her father; Nissi managed to complete her Bachelor’s in Science, M.B.A. in Accounting, M.B.A. in HR Management and Doctorate’s in Marketing all while raising seven children. As a partner with The Naomi’s House, founded by Michelle Harden she has dedicated her life’s work to helping struggling mothers and inmates to re-enter into the real world. She has been an aid to save over one hundred women who struggled with poverty, legal fees, and reunification with their children. Found by now mentor, partner, and surrogate mother Kelly Martens by a Facebook post; Nissi Hamilton has been influential to the need and desegregation of non-neighboring and neighborhood high schools all over the city of Houston. Nissi Hamilton influences students and help to generate new ideas and healthy choices in decision making. She knows that her triumph in defeating homelessness is accredited to her relationship with God and through her education. She has dedicated over twenty hours a week to these students of her own time. Nissi Hamilton is a native of Houston, Texas. She is outgoing, gregarious, and spontaneous. She is super hilarious and goes by the stage name Nissi Lamark, “The Princess of Comedy.” She has performed at Improv’s all over the United States, Hard Rock Café, The House of Blues and Los Angeles, California J-Spot.
