There are so many questions that arise when you become pregnant and approach birth and amongst all that excitement and love, it's totally normal to feel overwhelmed and nervous. So that's why we created our Ask Us Anything events on Instagram, and share them now in our podcast. Today you will hear my conversation with She Births® Post Natal Expert, Leah Sizeland. Leah is trained by me to run our magical Soul Mama Circles in Bondi, Inner West and the Northern Beaches of Sydney plus on Zoom. She is a postnatal doula, yoga teacher and mother of two. In the first half Leah shares how preparing and then chanting her way through contractions allowed her body to open during her first birth. But how she also felt completely shell shocked after birth. In the second half we talk about the maiden to mother transition, the science of matrescence (maternal adolescence) and the rise of the feminine happening on the planet right now. Plus of course we talk about why every mum deserves a deeper heart felt community with special support and guidance. The days and months after birth are such an important time of change where our brains are literally melting and rewiring anew. It is such an opportunity for growth when we have the right container.
