Well, hello, Cece. We're recording at a slightly off time today. Does it make you feel off recording? We're a few hours past our usual. How do you feel today? How are you? I'm good.
It is. It's like 3 p.m. and usually we record at noon, which, you know, for me just means I've had more Brigaderos by 3 p.m. as opposed to noon. So there's more sugar in me.
How are you? I'm good. I've gone through a lot of, speaking of sugar, I went through a lot of candy this week. Usually it's like I eat candy when, you know, I'm doing contracts. When I have something where I'm like, I have to slightly bribe myself and I was doing my business taxes and I was like, oh my God, I need to eat so much candy right now to make up for my business taxes.
Definitely bribe yourself for business taxes.
I know it's my, is your year end June 30? Yeah. Yeah. My, my year end is mine too. Yeah. Mine too actually. Yeah. Yeah. It's nice. Cause then in the summer it's like, you know, you get some time to pull things together. Yeah. So I've been doing that. So what candy, what candy are you enjoying? You know what? I just like went to the random like gas station convenience store and just like grabbed the biggest bags of candy I could find. So it's just randomly like random candy. Oh, yeah. I mean, it's whatever they sell at the gas station. Sweet 16, random, absolutely random licorice gummy candies that my dentist probably hates. But, you know, that's how I get through my business taxes. But it's done. And I feel really good about it.
It's a good like, you know, pat yourself on the back. Good. Another good year. Thanks to books. I'm, you know, such a privilege to have a life built on books. It never escapes me.
It is the best thing ever in the whole wide world. It's like, don't pinch me, you know, don't pinch me. I don't want to wake up. If this is a dream, I don't want to wake up.
Yeah, I know. It's the best. Well, speaking of things, unfortunately, that are not the best, we have to bring up the scammers again. Oh, man, so many scams out there. You guys, I don't know if it's specifically our listeners. I hope not. But this is the platform on which I have to rant about it. I'm getting DMs every day. I'm getting calls to the agency. I'm getting emails to our slush pile about all the scams that are happening and people are still falling for them. So I put another Instagram post up. Today, which is Wednesday, I'm hoping you guys just share it and just try to get the word out because it's really bad out there. Cece, are you still hearing of people getting scammed on your end?
