With that done now, uh, where does that leave the Columbus Blue Jackets vis-a-vis the cap and how does that impact Marchenko?
A little bit over if they're still over by the time we're uh by the time this comes out, 'cause we're obviously talking at five PM. Um Before we get to Marchenko, the just the deal on Vantilli himself, you know, like I don't I don't think he was willing to sign for six years until it got to these kinds of numbers. And I think a lot of people will react to the contract and say, well, like look at Cutter Gautier's contract. There was a slight difference between these two players, which is that Gautier was a 10-2C free agent, which means he wasn't eligible to sign an offer sheet and had a little less leverage in the negotiation. Not that he didn't use everything he had to get paid pretty damn well for one season, uh 41 goals.

It's a factor uh in that production and obviously what they put together over the last couple of years and everything they've gone through.
