But I thought I'd just bring it up because I watched it and it's quite good and there's been a lot of talk around it, just in case the spillers are like, what is this movie? Why did Em and Laura not talk about it? It's called the Whisper Man.

wasn't across the book at all. The book is like a bestseller and like I haven't read it, but I know many people have read it.
I remember I was like late at night, I was scrolling on my phone about to go to bed and I saw the little teaser come up for the Whisper Man on Netflix. And I thought it was a supernatural movie about a like a creature that whispered outside and like drew kids out of the house. And I was like, Oh, that's so creepy. I don't even know I'll come watch that. Anyway, apparently my late night imagination was actually way more interesting than the actual movie because it's just a serial killer. Oh. Who targets children and does that? And whisper he does whisper. to them.

And like and he like makes tapes of the whispering to like taunt their families once he's killed them. So
it's not fine. Ah, that's what the Golden Gate killer used to do. Really? See, this is except there wasn't much whispering but more like talking in a very high pitched voice.

And I hate things where children get taken. So really I was the worst target audience. You know how like most people feel like you were saying last week the dog stars, like people don't watch movies if the dog's gonna die. I can't watch a movie if a child's gonna get taken or hurt. So this was a really troubling watch for me.
Which is objectively a more valuable life.

No, I think it does too, but I wasn't gonna say it out loud. So all of those things come together to make the plot of the Whisper Man. So you're right, the cast of this is ten out of ten. In the like early two thousands or nineties, this would have been an Oscar contender. 'Cause it's Robert De Niro, Michael Keaton. Very good. Yeah. Michelle Monaghan. Very good. Amazing. And Adam Scott, who has really uh I I guess a lot of people know him for comedy, but he's become a bit of a scream queen of late. More on that in a second. So Adam Scott plays Tom Kennedy, he's recently widowed, and he and his young son Jake are gonna make a new You start so they move to a new town and new house. And here's my issue with this Like Widows Bay.
No, no, Widows Bay they have to stay in that house, that's the whole point. It's famously the whole point of the show. No, but as I was watching, as I was watching, I'm just gonna call him Adam Scott. As I was watching Adam Scott drive his young son to this new town, the young son's clearly traumatized. He also like has an imaginary friend, which kind of freaks Adam Scott out.
