And we're linked with Matias Fernandes. De Bravka comes over the line. And suddenly reports started that, you know, we are being linked with elite midfielders. Top players. Champions League players, you know, players that would completely transform this club. It's not difficult, is it? I mean, the state of that midfield, it wouldn't need much to lift it from the pit, really, to where we are.

Clubs trying to sell the players, the agents, maybe the player or the agent trying to drive interest using Spurs or another club as the bait, waiting for the big fish to come along and snap them up. We've been down that route, right? I mean, it's just because whether Tottenham actually signed Tenali or Fernandes, almost that isn't really the biggest story. The biggest story is if we drop one, then it sends a message out to everybody else. Look, we are actually changing. This could actually be a time where we're going to do something. We've been linked with playing top wages, which we've never, ever done.
I mean, whether it's rumours or not, Β£270,000 a week for Tenali. It's a rumour. I'm not saying it's completely true. We see that Newcastle have offered Bruno Guramesh 200 grand a week, which would make him the highest payer at Newcastle.
