I mean, that journey flying out 30 hours, honestly. Now, I go into a lot of trouble because I said to people that. I thought it was pointless, a pointless tour. What I was trying to say was that I don't believe that Deserby has any interest in risking any of the players. When you travel for 30 hours, even as a normal person, not as a sports person, you cannot get out the plane and start running around and not run the risk of injury. And I think that's why he played so many of the kids in so many of the games. A lot of the work that was done, from what I've been told from the people in the know, was all regarding the practice, that one-touch football to break the press, which is going to be the mainstay of how we see Deserby play football.
And I just thought that, you know, there was pluses from the tour. Malachi Hardy... Rio was fantastic. Williams-Barnett did well. There were pluses. Mathias Tell did well. And we all know how well Kinski did in that final game. But on the whole, I just want us to come back. We shouldn't be doing these 30-hour trips. It's great to go to Australia. I've got nothing against Australia and New Zealand. But we're doing it sort of regularly like the rest of the world doesn't sort of exist. I just think that it could have been really, really troublesome had we been relegated. Thank God we didn't. Because we could have been playing... Football, league football, literally straight away, as soon as we got back. So anyway, look, the transfer window has gone into overdrive as far as rumours everywhere, links everywhere, the usual boring ones, which I won't bore you with.
