Then so predictions-wise, we are going to decide now, put our predictions down on the record for a variety of categories. We're going to do finishing position, but heart and head. Cup runs, we're going to repeat last year's Wembley visit, uh, top score. Player of the year, maybe the story wildcard of the year, who's going to win the league and who's going down. Um so there are nine of us here in the square ball team. There's the five of us here on the show, there's the four uh who also work on the team as well.
We've got their predictions, so there's a lot to go at here. Let's get straight into it. Rob, we're gonna pitch you up against Luke. So Luke runs our merch and does our customer service queries. Rob, you are sat right there. So let's start off with um finishing position, heart and head, what have you gone for? Head I have gone for Exactly the same as last season, fourteenth, which I would take to be honest. I think amid all the optimism, I've got this nagging thing in the back of my head that the forty nineers in their pitch to investors last year were saying the target for the next two seasons is fifteenth, which is worse than we did last year. So fourteenth I think would be great, just stay established in the league.
H again, I'm a bit wary of all this optimism, so I'm thirteen. Right. So there's a one place difference between the best and worst case. I'm very level headed. A bit of a curveball from Luke here on this 'cause he has gone for position head like his logical brain is telling him fourteenth, but comfortable in that group above. His heart, however, his heart hates leads, so he's predicting eighteenth. And relegation. I mean that was

Yeah, we should say we've got a show coming out on Friday. We've spoken to Hayden Evans, um, famously David Batti and uh Gary Speed's agent runs the agency that uh is now run by Andy Gray and Richard Creswell, looks after all the family members, many of which keep coming through the ranks at um at Leeds. We recorded that before the contracts were announced, so we didn't get to um to speak about that. But yeah, um good news all round, I suppose. Reasons for more um for more optimism. Not if you're Luke though. On to um To cup runs, speaking of optimism, and we went to Wembley, we lost one nil to Chelsea. Can't remember what happened in the League Cup, 'cause my memory was all concerning. Oh, Sheffield Wednesday.

God, yeah. Those penalties. That was the difficult start to the season. What'd you reckon for cup runs this year? Um Luke has gone for a beat Forest, uh, which is interesting. We'll find out soon enough. But uh lose against West Ham. Same for the FA Cup, if you want. Yeah, I'm going back to our uh annual two games this season, I think. That forest draw is about as crap a draw as we could have hoped, given that we're playing there already three days earlier. Uh I think that will be a really boring, dull defeat, I expect.
