One of the fastest ways to lose yourself is to spend your life trying to impress people who were never going to value you in the first place. The problem is that it rarely does. The more you seek approval from people who don’t genuinely care about you, the more disconnected you become from your own purpose, confidence, and authenticity. Real strength comes from knowing who you are, standing by your values, and being willing to disappoint others rather than betray yourself.
