One of the biggest mistakes people make is believing they are alone in their fear, self doubt, or uncertainty. The reality is that almost everyone around you is carrying the same worries. They wonder whether they are good enough, whether they are making the right decisions, whether they will succeed, and what other people think about them. The difference is not that successful people have less fear. The difference is that they refuse to let those thoughts dictate their actions. In this episode, I explore how our minds convince us that everyone else has life figured out while we are the only ones struggling. That belief keeps people trapped in hesitation, overthinking, and procrastination. It stops them from taking opportunities, having difficult conversations, changing careers, starting businesses, or creating stronger relationships. Drawing on my experience as a former police officer, my own journey through PTSD and depression, and more than two decades coaching high performers, I explain why courage is never the absence of fear. Courage is making the decision to move forward despite it. The people you admire have experienced rejection, failure, anxiety, and uncertainty just like you have. They simply kept taking the next step. If you spend your life waiting until you feel completely confident, you will wait forever.
