FOCUS” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) Today I’m talking about the three main pieces of advice that I would give my younger self if I could go back in time. These are the broad ideas that are going to make a big difference in your life, no matter what your specific goals are. First of all, the quickest path between two points is always a straight line. This means that you must bring determined and unrelenting focus to your goals. Whatever you see as your aim, you need to focus very strongly on that one thing, even though it can alter and change somewhat over time. Whatever it is right now, you need to be able to bring determined and long-term focus towards its accomplishment. This is what is going to separate you from the rest of the people in the world who are also trying to accomplish things. Most of the world is distracted, and that is what is holding them back. But in a world full of distractions and distracted people, you need to bring intense focus to your goals, and you will see them accomplished. FOCUS Build on your strengths, not on your weaknesses Do wish for other people’s strengths, and try to build on those You can improve weaknesses, but you can’t primarily build on them You can get almost anything you want in life, but it will always take you a bit longer than you think The temptation to give up is right before you succeed Life is a like a ladder, you start at the bottom, and if you try to jump up to the top too fast, you’ll fall on your face Go on step, one rung of the ladder at a time Go directly toward what you want, with focus, in everything in your life, whether personal or professional Build the mental skills to be able to bring singular focus to whatever you need to To get what you want, you need to deserve what you want Pray for what you want Everybody’s specific desire is different, but YOU know what you want, so FOCUS on it Even if you’re young, don’t assume that you have a lot of time.
