PridePunks is the first CryptoPunk derivative art project, created in 2018 by Tally’s own Dennison Bertram. In this interview, we are joined by Citizen Lev, who handles digital marketing at PridePunks, as well as Lizo, PridePunk’s admin and OG.PridePunks may be a derivative, but it’s much more than that. With the mission statement of “representing underrepresented communities in web3,” PridePunks is creating a welcoming community for individuals from all walks of life to enter the web3 world. Their most recent mission? Becoming a DAO.For PridePunks today, this mission consists of ensuring DAO members have a safe space in which to learn and create, finding the best ways to empower the community, and creating a token project to incentivize education.
