As I look out my window. In um Washington D C. It is lightly raining at the moment. It is quarter to eight in the morning as we start this. And about two hours ago it was pounding rain. Yeah. Totally pounding rain. It's going to rain. It started sometime last night. And it's gonna rain all day and it's gonna rain into tomorrow. And this is the beginning of fall. This is the feels like it. This is the actual beginning of fall this day. A lot of leaves down from the rain. I put on pants last night. Because you had to dress for dinner. Well it was at your house. I didn't think I had to dress, but I did dress because it was cold. Or cool. It was not cold. It was cool and you could

Golf courses all over the area are closed because of the pounding of rain and the anticipation of another inch. today high fiving when you send out that email. Yeah. Yeah. Golf pros don't have to work. A lot of people were ready to go out and they can't go out. And I understand that. I played yesterday. I played with Neville. Um It's uh tradition that Neville and I have that we go to play Falls Road, which is a public course. Love it. It's have such good memories from playing there in high school. It's so perfect for a player like me 'cause it's wide open and it's not long.
A great place to learn how to score. Yeah. I mean I had a bunch of poles. Always has very good greens. Yeah. It's really so happy, played with Neville. You know, we were contemplative during it. Who drives the cart? Neville drives the cart. Um he go plays there all the time. Although it's not hard to go straight on a golf course and know where you're going. There's a couple of holes that that trick you but not not many. It's just a very nice place to play. Excuse me. And I of course uh atoned for what I had done wrong over the course of the year or attempted to atone and go to a golf course for the spirituality of it. Because I think golf courses are the best places on earth in order to relate to something larger than yourself.
Some of the prettiest views are on a golf course looking backwards, often from a green looking back towards the T uh and you see the long shadows that are beginning
to form. It's very, very nice. We played with a couple of guys who were retired. One was retired dentist, one was a retired plastic surgeon. who had worked in the army for quite some period of time.
