It's the best infrastructure Kyler Murray's ever had. You may you may have never heard that as well. There's gonna be plenty of time to talk about that. So we're gonna wait a little bit. Podcasting is a copycat league, as we say, especially in July. And our friends at the jet press decided to do a team of the worst players over the past 20 years. And we're like, why the hell not? So here's what we're going to do: we are going to To pick a team of the worst Vikings over the past 20 years. So this is the format. This is the worst Vikings team over the past 20 years, from 2006 to 2025.
Each player must have a minimum of 10 starts with a team and is weighted for overall negative impact on the franchise, fan sentiment, and expectations, and just general vibe. So the format of the Team goes like this. There'll be one quarterback, one running back, two wide receivers, a flex spot for all you fantasy football nerds out there. Tight end, left tackle, left guard, center, right guard, right tackle, two edge rushers, two interior defensive linemen, two linebackers, two corners, a nickel corner, and two safeties. So, Adam, what Do you think about this? And also, too, I hope you're okay with this because you actually pitched it to me. So um, if you're not, I'm gonna wonder what you're doing.
As a minimum of we said minimum of ten starts too, right?

Yeah, so so so we can't put Josh Freeman in here. We can't put uh Spurgeon Wynn in here. Although he he was he was pretty I know I was trying to trying to see if you would notice. Uh yes, we cannot put Max Brosmer in here. Uh Joe Webb's not eligible, although no, he's not because he didn't I don't think he really I don't think he started any games for at receiver for for the Vikings either. So I don't think he attended. I don't think he had ten starts. No. But so some of those guys not eligible. But do are they deserving of a mention? Probably. Um, but no, I I I we always need something to do in uh the dog days of summer as we are getting closer to training camp. Uh yeah, our friends with the jet press, they I feel like they obviously maybe have a little more of a bigger pool to choose from when it comes to worse players.
Uh although they did have a little bit of run there with with record. Ryan in the in the middle there going to a couple AFC championships. Um but uh yeah, the Vikings are there wasn't a like a shortage of of players to choose from, I feel like. And some of these players I was I was looking at and looking at their stats and being like They they did that or like they they they really okay. All right. So and this was this was like a good exercise of going in the past too and being like, oh, they were they were As as much as we complained last year, you look at some of this and you go, Oh it's
been way worse like the Shane Gillis means.
And a lot of these are from teams that went I don't know. Like some of these players were on teams that went ten and six, nine, nine and seven. Like they weren't on bad teams. They were just bad players. And and bad to the level of like A lot of them didn't meet expectations that they were given, whether they were drafted high or signed a big contract.
