While not terribly common, Valpolicella is a reasonably easy to find wine that is reasonably priced and comes from one of the most famous and most beautiful parts of Italy - the area around Verona and Lake Garda. Made from a blend of grapes you have probably never heard of - like Corvina, Rondinella, and Corvinone - this is a wine that will really help you to expand your wine knowledge and horizons!
