Gagan is an under 23 Karnataka state champion and is a silver medalist in U23 road race at 2020 Nationals. He has multiple medals at the nationals in U23 and a gold medal in U18 as part of Karnataka team time trial cycling team in 2017. He manages his passion for sport along with his zest for learning. As he rode into multiple medals at the nationals, he also pursued an engineering degree in computer science and completed it with distinction.
