Vinay Jani is an epilepsy awareness advocate. Vinay was diagnosed with epilepsy when he was 21 years old. After the initial shock and depression, he had come to accept his diagnosis, started working with his neurologist to deal his medical condition and tried to lead as much of a normal life as possible. While dealing with the condition, he managed to lose weight, started cycling and running. He went on to complete a super randonneur series 4 times and completed 1000km rides twice. In running he has completed a half marathon and marathon as well. In this episode, Vinay shares his journey of dealing with epilepsy and pursuing endurance sports. He warns that it might not be safe for everyone with epilepsy to pursue sports but it is possible to become aware of the condition and lead a safe and healthy life while dealing with epilepsy.
