And sort of embedded in this discussion that keeps coming up throughout the show is, and and a discussion I've had with a lot of people out in LA while I've been here is if you had to pick a team. That we get to April. And we're like, okay, this team actually has more than a puncher's long shot chance against the Spurs or the Thunder in a playoff series. Or we even get to May, and it's like, whoa, this team is 2-2, game five, going into Oklahoma City. Which team is that? Is it the New Look Wolves? Is it the Rockets with Fred Van Vliet back? Marcus Smart on board? Is it the Lakers rebuilt around Luka Doncic? Is it Denver still there? Still has Nikoli Yokic and Jamal Murray. Can't count them out. Is it any other team?
Which team is it? Or is it, is the answer just like, unless there's a big injury to one or both of those teams, is the answer just nobody? Every West team, rapid fire coming up with Rob Mahoney.

Rob Mahoney, fresh off being passed over for interim governor of the LA Clippers. I thought you had a shot. They gave it to a random lawyer no one had ever heard of. Did you apply?
Of course I did. I threw my hat in the ring. I guess you know what? I was I I had all of or what's the Isaiah Thomas quote? I was eligible to be picked but was not. I f I'm fucking it up. I don't know. They didn't pick me for whatever reason.
I joked last week that they should have to the NBA should have made them send Chuck DeCondor. as their representative at the Board of Governors meeting and it was very silly and everyone was like, You're being very silly. And I was like, Yeah, I'm aware. I a mascot at the Board of Governors meeting is silly. They had no one there. No one. No. They had no one there for their official spanking in person by the NBA. Chuck DeCondor could have been there in the end.
What if that's the relegation punishment? You know, rather than decreasing the draft odds or whatever, it's like for the next year or two you have to send your mascot to the board of governors or your team governor in the mascot uniform. I think public shame goes a long way.

And we're gonna start with the Utah Jazz and we're gonna go by division I'm gonna start with the Jazz 'cause I haven't really gotten a chance to talk about Keontae, Georgia's five year one fifty something extension. What are your thoughts on that before we go dive into the jazz? I mean it seems exactly
Exceedingly reasonable for what Keontae George did last season. I think part of what made his season so heartening for me was you see, you know, young guards who are coming on in the league, a lot of high pick and roll, a lot of like high volume operations basketball. He was playing like all over the place. Dribble handoffs coming off of pin downs, like a lot of really varied action in a way that tells me like he's ready not only for the very bad version of the jazz we saw last season, but this more talented, more veteran version of the jazz that we'll hopefully see this year. I have zero problem with this number.
