We just saw the CEO of Anthropic come out saying we need regulation just after this guy who worked for like six weeks at the company says AI is going to kill us all. The question is, why would the companies themselves want regulation? And how many people are saying the whole thing is a conspiracy? It's a psyop. You got this guy who worked at this company for only six weeks. He's been accused of previously working with political activist groups. liberal ones, or having connections to them. And this play is largely about over-regulating AI for some reason to shut it down. While others are arguing with the CEO of Anthropic coming out, this is about putting barriers in place so that no new company, no open source model could ever compete with the big dogs.
They say, well, it's regulated now. You got to get your safety certification from the government. But guess what? If you're small, you'll never afford it. Gatekeeping the power of AI. say that's... Yeah, because the socialists haven't really thought through their positions. This guy is the epitome of privilege. Talking about how he's underprivileged. It's remarkable.
Well, it's also like the left isn't used. And this ties into the Charlie Kirk thing you said. I'm sorry that they are the party of violence and short tempered because they're so used to saying whatever they want and people believing them. Like one of the things he said, the dumbest thing may not have been when he said the Uber driver, although it was up there. He literally loves saying the bumper sticker. Well, you know what? They want to tax billionaires. Well, you're closer to being homeless than you are a billionaire. Everyone is closer to being homeless than they are being a billionaire. Even many billionaires. Yes, billionaires.
There are billionaires that are closer to being homeless than Elon Musk. Yeah. It doesn't mean anything.
Yeah, and so what they do is... Normal people would be like, well, then I better work harder. I better work harder so I don't wind up being homeless. But other people on the left are like, well, then why don't you just give me the billionaires' money?
Here's the thing. People who are good at stuff know there is no best at thing. What I mean is if you're really good at playing guitar, you know that no matter how good you get, there is no best. There are just different kinds of really good. Like a good classical Spanish guitar player is going to play very differently from a metalcore player. And there are certain things that people can do that others can't. The socialists don't get this. So they think that billionaires... Like, they live in this world where no one, like, that there is a top. They believe that there is literally you're the best and that it's not fair to everybody else.
