Hey everyone, I'm really excited to tell you about a podcast that's actually very near and dear to my heart. It's called Risk. And this is a podcast I started listening to in like 2014. I listened to it while I did bear work. I listen to it all the time, like hundreds and hundreds of hours of it. And it's a storytelling podcast where people tell really real stories they never thought they'd dare to share. For example, there's one about a young man that was kidnapped by a Mexican drug cartel. There's one where a young woman discovered the guy she was planning kinky playdates with was her dad. There's tons of stories. And for me this podcast was really important. It was during a time where I was really only hearing stories from my community.
And it really helped me expand my worldview. And to be completely honest with you, there was a story on this podcast that really helped me during a time where I was going through some difficult changes and I just needed to hear other perspectives. So for that reason, Risk has always been a really important podcast to me. I can't recommend it enough. I've listened to so much of it and I absolutely love it. I think all three of us have spent a fair amount of time driving around this big old country ours, haven't we? Sure thing. Yeah. Personally I've driven to all of the states besides Hawaii. Uh had to fly to that one. That's why you're the best of us. That's not true. And for a little while I actually had a job as a long-haul trucker and got to visit all those states a second time. And I I'm curious if you guys feel the same way about this. When I would drive around different parts of the country, I kind of felt like each part of the country had a distinct emotion to it. Like when I would drive through the Rockies, I felt kind of awestruck and alive, uh, really meditative driving through the desert.
