Victoria Nasarova thought that she had everything figured out. She could leave her home country of Russia and escape to the United States to avoid being caught for a crime that she allegedly committed. But once she made it across the sea, her crime spree did not stop. She decided that she was going to cover her tracks even further by murdering her doppelganger and assuming her identity. But after some good old fashioned detective work, Victoria would ultimately be captured and made to face the consequences of her five year long crime spree. Now Olga Svic was originally from the Ukraine, living in the country during times of crisis. 2014 was the first year that Russia invaded the Ukraine. It was a time of uncertainty and many citizens were afraid of what was to come.
So, like many other Ukraine citizens in 2014, Olga decided to immigrate to the United States, being granted legal immigration under political asylum. Luckily, Olga did already have a friend living in the US, so she contacted this friend and set up living arrangements with the friend's uncle in a home in Queens, New York. This was ideal for her because she didn't know anybody in the US. She didn't have family. So she was happy to find someone who was also from the Ukraine to live with. In the years that followed, Olga found her place in New York City. She started working as an aesthetician, specifically doing eyelash extensions for her clients. Eventually she was granted a work visa, which basically gave her the ability to work in the country legally, giving her an ID with all of her information and all of that.
By 2016, Olga was working in a local salon in Queens, New York. She started building her clientele, and eventually, through a mutual friend, she met a woman named Victoria Nasserova who was referred to Olga for her services. So Victoria paid Olga a visit at her salon. Now, Victoria Nasserova moved to the US from Russia and settled in a majority Russian neighborhood in Sheep's Head Bay in Brooklyn, New York, where she went on to work as a luxury masseuse. According to ads she would post looking for work, she provided quality massages in home, meaning that she would come to you. Victoria was also known as a lover of the finer things in life. She loved expensive jewelry, wearing nice clothes and exotic furs and taking luxury vacations.
With that, she also took great pride in her appearance, going to luxury spas and getting her lashes done whenever she could. So when she found out about Olga, it was a no-brainer that she would see her and get her lashes done. Even though Victoria was in Brooklyn and Olga was in Queens, the long transportation time was worth it. Once Victoria started getting her lashes done by Olga, the two bonded. Of course, they were both immigrants who recently came to the US and Neither of them had any family around. They both spoke English as a second language. And of course, with any beauty service, you have a decent amount of time to talk one-on-one. A lot of women have had this experience, I know I have, where you're sitting in the chair, you're getting your hair done, or whatever beauty service done, and you're there for a good amount of time.
My hair is pretty long, so I've been there for like five, six hours at a time, and by the end of it, you know. everything about one another and you just met them that same day or you see them like once every three months. I feel like that's a pretty universal experience with womanhood. But either way, through that, through chatting and getting to know each other, Victoria found out that Olga had just obtained her work visa, and Victoria told Olga that she was also working to get her green card. That was not true. Victoria was not working towards her green card, but I will explain more about that later in the video. Either way, the two grew a friendship and Victoria continued getting her lashes done by Olga.
By Saturday, august twenty eighth, twenty sixteen, Victoria contacted Olga, sounding panicked and frantic. She told Olga that she was going on a vacation that following day and that she needed an emergency eyelash repair that needed to be done before her vacation.
