While there, Lexington realized just how bad of a situation Benalyn was from.
She really did live in extreme poverty, but even then, after meeting, their relationship did continue to grow and they had this better understanding of each other. They went on to get married in July of 2018 in Samar, Philippines, and only about a month later, on August 20th, 2018, Benalyn gave birth to her daughter, Jellica. After having her daughter and being married, Benalyn realized that she wanted to do better for her daughter and for herself.
So, by 2019, by the age of 24, Benalyn took the massive step of moving across the world to the United Kingdom.
But even after moving to Bristol in the United Kingdom to be with Lexington and raise her daughter, the relationship between Benalyn and Lexington quickly fell apart. So the two broke up and now all of a sudden, Benlyn was now single and on her own in a brand new country. She ended up moving into her own apartment in Kingswood, UK, only three miles outside of Bristol. Here though, she told her sister that she felt better. She was happy with her situation. She said that she felt free and she was happy to be on her own. She met people around the neighborhood to connect with, especially other women who had young children. And everybody who met Benalyn at this time said that she was just this outgoing, vibrant, determined young woman.
Friends and family members of Benalyn also described that she was just the most devoted mother who put Jellica at the absolute center of her world. She spent her time going out to play in different parks around Bristol, having Jellica meet other children so that she could also make some friends of her own. Beneline did everything in her power to be the best mother to Jellica that she possibly could. While raising her daughter, however, Beneline was still working to support herself and support her family back home in the Philippines. She worked to sell vacuum cleaner parts online, and she also worked at a nursing home to take care of people. She made sure to stay in contact with her family every day, video chatting with her sister daily, despite the fact that there was an eight-hour time difference between them.
And while doing all of this, Benalyn was still trying to find connections with somebody. So, by February of 2021, Benalyn had signed up for a dating website called Filipino Cupid, which is basically a website for women from the Philippines to sign up for and men could find Filipino women on that website. She ended up connecting with a man from Dundee, Scotland on this website. This man was a 50-year-old software engineer named Andrew Innes. andrew was born in 1970 he attended alva academy and then studied at aberdeen university before working in computer gaming for several different firms his job actually gave him many opportunities to travel all around the world which was pretty cool at one point he had previously lived in tokyo japan and there he met his wife and the two were married by 2002
