I’m sitting down with fellow VISION54 alumna Jenny to discuss how her golf journey found new life during the pandemic, eventually leading her to connect with us at The Royal Dublin during an unforgettable trip to Ireland. Jenny shares her transformative experience and key takeaways from the Three-Day VISION54 Human Skills Camp at Talking Stick Golf Club. “You’re not golfing to score,” Jenny says. “You’re golfing to feel.” She tells us right off the bat that the camp delves deep into mindset over swing technique, with a focus on the process over outcome, and the importance of balance, tempo, and tension as complementary to technique. We also talk about the intentional, well-structured schedule we went through at the camp, which gave us a great balance between drill time and interaction with our instructors and fellow students. Ultimately, the Human Skills Camp was an amazing opportunity for all of us to rediscover the joy of golf, regardless of experience and handicap index.
