Can you guess what our topic is today? Aliens, UFOs, abductions. Last episode, last encounters, when we did glitches and interdimensional like time slips and stuff, there was a story that I brought up that we had read on the podcast years ago about an alien abduction where they like woke up in the midst of nails.

I found it. Or are you going to reread it? I'm going to start this episode with it. Great. So we first read it on Encounters 140 back in 2022. It's from our listener, Maddie, and it's called An Alien Abducted My Mom. Hi, little lads. My name is Maddie. I love that. Before my mom met my dad and had me, she was married and had my two sisters. When my mom was recently divorced after that marriage, she moved from Ann Arbor, Michigan to Brooklyn, Missouri, which is a small town with a lake. She bought a small house on that lake and said it was wonderful. She loved living there. Other than the fact that the town was a little odd. She said that along with the beautiful scenes, there was a lot of dark energy and a lot of weird people doing some weird stuff like rituals and weird sex stuff and culty shit.
Oh, okay. That's not what I thought. She meant weird.
Very weird. My mom didn't move to the house alone. She brought my sister, who at the time was probably around 16, and my other sister had moved out. So it was just the two of them, my mom and my 16-year-old sister. My sister, like me, sleepwalks. And has weird sleeping habits like, oh, I don't know, waking up with dirt in her bed from leaving the house while sleepwalking. Yeah, no. Amongst other things. So my mom has literally had to booby trap the front door to prevent her from leaving. As all of this is going on, my mom started renovating the upstairs to turn it into a bedroom. So she had flipped all the floors, nails facing up, so the next day she could start replacing them. And her and my sister got ready for bed.
So like all the floorboards
were like
ripped up, nails facing upwards. My sister had a room across from my mom and their doors were open, so if my sister did start to sleepwalk, my mom would hopefully catch her in the act. Once my sister started to fall asleep, she felt weird, but she couldn't put a finger on it, so she went to bed. And then she woke up at 2.45 a.m. because she was freezing. She rolled over and realized she was not in her bed.
