Two Strike Noise - A Baseball History Podcast

Episode 143 - Bobby Valentine, Valentine’s Way

30 Nov 2021

Description

This week former player & manager Bobby Valentine joins us to talk about his career. We talk about his infamous disguise in the dugout (we also find out it was not the first time he had gone undercover),  managing & playing with our all-time favorite players, how many times he deserved to be tossed and George Steinbrenner did WHAT to the visiting clubhouse at Shea Stadium during the 2000 World Series? Bobby was also nice enough to open a pack of 1990 Upper Deck cards with us and had some great stories about some of the players we pulled (it was the perfect time to pull a Geno Petralli!).  Valentine's Way: My Adventurous Life and Times - https://www.amazon.com/Valentines-Way-Adventurous-Life-Times/dp/1637580940 Bobby Valentine’s Sports Academy - https://bvacademy.com/ Spill the Beans with Ryan Spilboroghs - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4jOPm2-y50&ab_channel=ColoradoRockies Two Strke Noise TWIB Rewatch - https://youtu.be/9dWU4ItK2hc Twitter - @twostrikenoise Instagram - @twostrikenoise Two Strike Noise on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvh7epD-mqT9qCIV7CNqhog Twitch - https://www.twitch.tv/twostrikenoise E-mail - [email protected] We pull ALOT of commons in Wax Pack Heroes. If you've got those Tom Foley or Ernest Riles cards just sitting around you can donate those commons to charity and maybe spark a child's interest in baseball and collecting.
