Hi guys, welcome back to another episode of Two Teas in a Pod with myself. And today we have a special co-host, one of my good friends, Margaret Joseph. Hello, Margaret.
Tamara, I'm so happy to be here. We haven't seen each other in a bit.
I know. We have so much to talk about before we get into recapping Atlanta episode 14. First of all, how are you?
Oh my God. I'm absolutely fabulous.
Who is guest Margaret Josephs and why is she co-hosting this episode?
I'm feeling great. I, you know, I did that other show for Amazon prime, the reality. What am I saying? Reality retreat. I almost forgot the name of my show because I was so guru out there. It was great. When does that air? I think January. I think that's going to come out in January. That was a really, really fun show. And, you know, I did a little guest appearance on my Golden Life Girls and, you know, some things might be happening with that. So we'll see.
Oh, are you saying maybe possibly you might be going over there? Possibly. Maybe. We'll see.
Oh my God, that's exciting.
How was the transition from being on pause to not going back? Was it, I mean, I know when I, well, I was put on pause, but at the time I was fired in my mind. And it was a process. It was a little bit of a grieving process.
Um, you know, it's very funny because I knew in my head, you know, you know, you and I had spoken about it. I've talked about it. I spoke with the network back in December. I knew if the show was going in a certain direction, I already had in my head, I was done with it. And we were, we were on hold, you know, we were on pause for over two years. So I was used to not filming, not working. And I already knew in my head that, If it's going in that direction, that's not for me. So I already resided myself to that fact. I was like, that's just not my gig anymore. So I kind of was like, okay. I felt like it was a great journey. It was fun and fabulous while it lasted. And I was like, all right, whatever. And then that other show had come up very quickly.
And it was like, it was fine. It's just like I didn't skip a beat.
Yeah, I feel like also with E! doing their new shows, housewives that have moved on have the option now, I think. I think E! is going to start picking up different franchises, don't you? Yeah.
Yes, I think that's exactly what's going to happen. And I think, you know, I could just, it's a more comfortable space for me. I think I've maybe just outgrown that kind of drama. Listen, I love, you know, I love being sarcastic. I love being opinionated. I loved my ladies on the show. But I think it just got to a place that really didn't work for us. You know, it's about supposed to be better for friends who could make up. And I think just there was so much water under the bridge that I just couldn't do it anymore. I couldn't let bygones be bygones because, you know, when certain lines are crossed, you just can't go back.
Who do you still talk to on the show?
Oh, Melissa, Dolores, Melissa and Dolores. There's the only two ones left on the show. And then of course I speak to Rachel food.
How did Margaret describe her experience leaving Real Housewives and filming other shows?
I still speak to Danielle Cabral, obviously Jen Fessler.
Now it's all over that they're on their cast trip. When we film, we're not allowed to talk about it. We're not allowed to post pictures. Yeah.
That's a little weird. I'm surprised that they're posting and everything else. I'm not going to say anything. Um, the whole thing is I am, that's the only thing I do have a little envy. They got to go to, uh, I see that they're in Korea. I would have loved a glam trip to Korea, but I could go myself, get my own beauty treatment.
Yeah. Right.
Right. That it looks fine.
Yeah, I was shocked that they were able to post from there, say where they're at. I mean, somebody leaked it. I think what happened was the producers were over there, and they were taking pictures, and they posted them. And then you know how these fan accounts are. They follow the producers. Like, a ton of them follow Luke on our show. And if he starts posting... The cat is out of the bag.
