Establishing a trusting relationship with your patient can help set realistic expectations from the start and work towards symptom control to improve quality of life. Multidisciplinary approach is recommended with treating functional bowel disorders, such as exercise, psyllium, low FODMAP diet, psychological therapies, and pharmacotherapy that is tailored to patients symptoms.  We hope you enjoy this episode!
