But honestly, the talking point became this Egypt goal that was disallowed. Yeah. And I am a big fan of VAR.

Because I want the call to get right. I want it to be right. Okay, so 02, we played Germany in the quarterfinals of a World Cup. Greg Berhalter has a chance off a corner. It hits a guy's hand on the goal line. And at that point, it would have been a penalty and a red card. They've since taken double jeopardy out of play. And it would have changed there. I mean, presumably, we score a penalty and we're up a man. And maybe we go to a semifinal. And so I want them to get the call right.

This whole idea of going back 15 seconds, 20 seconds on the other end of the field to say there was a foul to me is just wild. If the ref gives a foul, fine. But this was honestly, this was BS. I feel really bad for Egypt. I really do because that's not the way you should be going out of a tournament. It's shocking.
Yeah. I'm with you. I'm a huge proponent of VAR. I always say that I am. I accept what you're saying. Given the way the law has been written with VAR, I accept it. So I'm saying, okay, in a goal scoring phase, anything that Anything before that where the ball was in play is reviewable. But I'm sort of with you given that it didn't affect the attacking phase. The referee decided not to, like, yeah, yeah, I feel like maybe that should be reviewed.
It's almost on the other end line where this happens. I mean, Argentina had, I don't know how many seconds, 12, 15 seconds, and six defenders and multiple plays.
Yeah.
To put out the fire. I mean, it's just wild. I know. It's hard for me to believe. And I think what we're learning in this World Cup is even with the Flo Balogun red card suspension and these things, there's an opportunity now for FIFA.
