Welcome back to this week's episode of Unlocked. I am very excited for today's guest. As you know, Nashville is a big city, small town, and I feel like we know each other, but we kinda don't know each other. It's a weird, Nashville's such a weird circle, okay? But we're gonna talk about all things just motherhood, womanhood, finding your identity, especially when you do have a successful spouse. It's so easy to get lost in that. And I feel like our guest today has not. So welcome, Callie Hardy. Hi. Hi. I was just thinking that. I was like, how have we not... really hung out like we have so many mutual friends i will say i am such a homebody okay i love being at home okay so it takes a lot for me to get out no i understand that and i feel like i've been burned by like some people in the nashville circle right to where it's like oh
who wants to use you to get a leg up or who wants, like when you're beneficial to them, they're your friend, right? Totally. Like when they've got something coming out that they want you to promote or when they... Ew, I hate that. Yeah, I just feel like it's, and I'm one of those people towards like, if I get burned once, I kind of just... well good you should yeah like that so yeah i hate that i actually pissed off for you i know it's it's brutal but it's you know what we'll give it another try yeah yeah if you ever feel like going out you know who to you know who to call i'm in tune you only have one kid now so it's it's easier that's what we were saying before yes exactly exactly and you're not far from me
Where, okay, well, I mean, I won't ask you. Yeah, not far, not far. We'll talk later.
Yeah, we'll talk later. But your story, first off, I love following just like everything that you do. I see you in so many different people's posts and you're always like such a bright light and it's so fun to just see. Thank you.
No, of course. I appreciate that. That's like the biggest compliment you can pay me. I love that.
Well, I think too, it's just, you know, some people they walk around, they're just like doom and gloom and you're like, get why life is not that bad uh yeah no there's not there's literally just not enough time for that no like you gotta you gotta get rid of that exactly so you you're 29 so funny i was like wait we're the same age this is crazy are you weird about turning 30 i don't know i feel like honestly i feel like i've gone through too much in my life to be in my 20s
So I feel that, but like, and I haven't even gone through, like, like, I feel like I've just lived kind of a normal life, but I'm like, oh my God, 30. Like, I just remember being young. Like, I don't care because to me it doesn't really make a difference. But just growing up, I was always like 30, like 30 is old.
Oh my God.
to not say like oh 20 something to just be 30 i'm like yeah to be i just can't believe we're here do you know what i mean i'm like that happened fast it is it really did and then another 30 years is 60 like that's crazy it is crazy to think like it is insane how old's michael he's Seven years older than me. OK. I was like math. Yeah. He's he's turning 37 this year. OK. So he's he's been in his 30s. He knows what it feels like. Oh, totally. He loves his. I mean, everyone says that, though. Everyone loves their 30s. Like, I'm not worried about it. That's what I said.
I was like, my 20s have been traumatic. Like, let me get to my 30s. I feel like it's like a consensus.
I feel like everyone's like your thirties are like chill. You're more settled in your life and your routine. Like you don't care as much.
So, so what about, so your life, like before, how long have you and Michael already been together? which for people who don't know, like country music world, Hardy is Hardy, okay? Like everyone knows who Hardy is in the country music world. He's awesome. So talented. But how long have y'all been together? We've been together.
Okay, so this year we'll be married four years, but we've been together since 2018. Holy cow. I know, which is really crazy. So you were there before.
