Hey guys, it's Beck Judd and Jess Roberts and welcome to Main Show. I'm just working my hair out because it's just your slut strands. My slut strands are just not sutting right now.
Because what we do when we record Veinish is we have these really cool cameras in the studio where we shoot off some videos to you guys so you that promotes our videos on socials to tell you what we're covering this week. And Jess isn't happy with how she's gonna look on the videos because her slut strands aren't out, but she has these long hair.
Oh no, and you know what? I've there's been a few videos that have gone out the last couple of weeks. I'm like, Jess, what are you doing? You've just rolled in like a hot mess. I need to like this is a vein-ish podcast. I'm so ish at the moment. So I'm trying to be ish. Yes,
and I'm trying to lift my vein up. When we record early in the week, we're always still a bit ish because we're recovering from the weekend.
Always. Just back from all the dance runs, guys. Not from drinking at all. Not from drinking margarita.
Greeted all day Friday.
How did the historic NFL clash at the MCG unfold and why was it so memorable?
All day Saturday. Maybe sometimes Monday. I mean Sunday. So we had the best weekend. It was the NFL game in Australia in Melbourne on Friday. It was the San Francisco 49ers versus the Los Angeles Rams at the MCG. Over 100,000 fans filled the MCG. And I didn't know what to expect, but my God, it was
Amazing. It was so good. It was so good. I just am laughing like I was saying earlier to Beck, like how often people were saying it's sixty niners instead of forty nine. Get your mind out of the gutters of everyone. I was like and I was correcting everyone and I'm like, I don't know anything about football, but I knew their actual names. But yeah. San
Francisco Forty Niners. It's so funny you say that because I was watching the news and one of the sports reporters was doing like a recap of the day and she said San Francisco Sixty Niners. Did she really? Yeah. Australians
just love sixty niners. Dead und we love, it's our favourite position.
No it's not. Anyway, so we had a great day. So this is how it rolled out. Because it was going live on Netflix to the world, because it was round one for the NFL, it's their season kickoff, and was their first game. It was the game started at ten thirty in the morning, Australian Eastern Standard Time. So we had to get up. I was off at like five forty five. You were up at I was at three thirty or something. Or something.
Getting ready. Yeah. We caught the train in. When I say 3:30, guys, like that was not because of like I'm that keen and wanted to do my it takes me that long to do my glam. I was keen, but not to do my glam and stuff. It was just that my husband had was sleeping with one of the children that night and he crawled into bed. And I said, Wake me up when you get up for your hot Pilates, which is about 5, 5:30. So when he gets up and walked into the room, I immediately thought it was my alarm, go time to get up. So I fully got up, but then I couldn't get back to sleep after that. So I was like, oh stuff this. So I just went downstairs, drank coffee, fold washing. Just the usual. The usual. So I wasn't like getting ready at that time.
But it was um it was a different vibe heading into the G, seeing everyone in their merch. Like everyone, this is what I love about the NFL and American culture is that everyone embraces the merch and the team and the branding so much. Like
everyone was wearing merch. There was free Tim Tams getting handed out, there was a Vegemite stand, also.
