Welcome, My name is Tracey Cook and this is the podcast series Victim to Victory. This series gives a voice to those who have overcome challenges in all forms, that dare greatly to share their real stories, that have seen hope and rose above those adversities to become victorious, to go on to support and inspire others to do the same. TASHA W: MESSENGER OF HOPE My life's mission is to inspire millennial women how to rise from a place of pain to a posture of promise. As a sexual assault survivor, there was a time in my life where I questioned my identity, my worth and my existence. It was challenging for me to speak up about my experience due to guilt, shame and fear. Once I made the decision to stop feeding my fears and start living in freedom, I became a sounding board for those who felt silenced. This led me to pursuing a Master's in Education from Towson University and a Master of Social Work from Morgan State University. Now, I am obtaining a doctoral degree in Christian Leadership: Ministry Leadership from Liberty University. My life experiences and educational background serve as a catalyst in helping millennial women to unlock the treasure that's within, confront pitfalls from the past and explore the power of fearlessness.
