I’ve been doing the podcast now for over 4 years and I have to start monetizing it as I don’t feel right not paying my guests. I’m also losing $400 a month and just can’t keep affording to not monetize. If you join/subcribe either Patreon or Bandcamp you’ll get all episodes free and a month early as well as 3 reel,story, or posts a month as ads or collabs. We are putting out two episodes to celebrate our 200th episode with episodes with musician Bonnie “Prince” Billy, and filmmaker Guy Maddin. As much as I love doing the podcast it’s not financially sustainable and I don’t think I have another year in me if I can’t monetize and compensate my guest’s hir their time.
