We were incredibly inspired listening to an interview (on Radio New Zealand) with Dr. George Jelink, author of the book "Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis," (OMS), so we reached out to the OMS charity. We invited Dr. Jonathan White, their medical advisor (who also suffers from MS) to speak with us on our recently launched podcast series "Wellness for the rest of us." This podcast, the second in our series, is a fantastic conversation highlighting paths to MS and what might be done to overcome symptoms, in terms of managing diet, stress, pharmaceuticals, and sleep. We also explore the roles of different types of fats in our diet particularly related to Multiple Sclerosis – this is a very interesting area and one we will explore more for you in future. MS is an autoinflammatory disease, so many of the lessons learned are relevant for other such diseases, - so too is the book, which is a fascinating read for anyone, exploring or making lifestyle changes.
