It's important to really be conscious about how you want to approach your meals. You can look at it being reactive vs. proactive. Do you want to wait until 5 o'clock and scramble to figure something out last minute or do you want to take a step back and be more thoughtful about planning your meals in advance? If I want to take things to the next level, for me that means doing some work up front with batch cooking.
