Really trying to get to the underlying root cause of what might be stuck.

It's just really getting this amazing sense of you know, what is going on underneath the surface. I think I have mentioned this a few times, what was particularly challenging for me in more ways than one was this concept of, I kind of obviously got the brain body connection because of, you know, the spine leading up to the back of the skull and the vagus nerve that comes down and branches off.

You know, from a biology perspective, that made sense. You know, I had pictures and imagery of a woman's anatomy and how everything's all connected. from a sort of left brain perspective, that seemed very logical. But what was particularly challenging was, I guess, understanding what was going on subconsciously. We've all heard of the analogy of an iceberg.

110.717 - 123.07 Wendy K. Laidlaw

You can see the tip of the iceberg above the water, but what you can't see if you're a ship or a tankard out in the Antarctic or near Iceland is what's going on underneath the surface.

123.843 - 143.426 Wendy K. Laidlaw

And again, you know it makes sense it's it's a logical thing to kind of understand, but it's how on earth is it's almost like a like like the background operating system of a MAC or a word and Microsoft computer you kind of you have all the functionalities. but you're not aware of all the background working things.

143.446 - 159.53 Wendy K. Laidlaw

And I guess that's when it comes to sort of feelings and emotions and then how that manifests and affects the body as well. What I refer to as molecules of emotion. You know, we have all these different molecules in our body and they have all the different energies and have all the different purposes.

160.071 - 186.327 Wendy K. Laidlaw

And we are unaware until we have crises like this, where we have this disease or disharmony that's showing up in our body. how all these things are working under the surface. And my belief is that these situations occur so that we have to stop, re-examine and fully wake up to how we were before. And there's a part of us ultimately crying out to say, we don't want to carry on like this.
