So where are we at? What's our current reality? I think that's already been done. I don't think it's time now to go, let's change some things. I think we've sort of got our lot. Now it's time to start instill a bit of confidence, probably not mix the team up too much. And that's why you look at Geelong and a little bit of Bulldogs as well. They're trialing things now. And every now and then you do slip through and you get it right. But if you're not in order now, there's a bit going on. So, yeah, it is moving day. And the next two weeks in particular, we're going to set everything up, including finals.
All right, so you've got to do the ladder predictor for us by Thursday with your teams who are chasing up and who will ultimately get there. We'll open our competition and say we've never had a successful entry when we were trying to do the top eight. Now we're trying to do the top 10.
How far off is everyone in terms of their team, I wonder? Like who's actually going, I'm actually really pleasantly surprised. Like a Melbourne type. And who's been, I just thought we're going to be so much better. There'd be a four game buffer to your personal thoughts of your club. And I think most clubs sit in the four game buffer. You wouldn't have, you would have thought that. There's not massive surprises. And we're all thinking now and going through. Melbourne are the biggest, are the most pleasant surprise. Yeah, I think Melbourne are definitely a conversation, but I think, you know, all the teams that we sort of thought, thought Collingwood would be mid range, you know, Geelong, I thought, you know, they're ninth at the moment, Geelong.
So that's, that's probably outside their zone. Carlton, you know, they're now 12th. Yeah, so, I mean, maybe the Suns.
And that brings us to the Suns, who are the big issue. Damien Hardwick hoisted the white flag on Saturday night.
Got to figure out and, you know, at the end of the day, we've got six weeks. This year's, you know, effectively gone. What we've got to do is forge our way forward about what we want ourselves to look like for next year, you know, from my point of view.
