Ask the questions and do your research. Our fathers and grandfathers have said, you should spend 2 to 3 times the cost of the rifle on your optics. They were right then for the same reason they are right now. This age-old wisdom is not just timeless but more true now than ever. Combine that with the marketing and branding power of today's corperations and you can follow that rule and still wind up with a $500 scope made in China or the Phillippines.
