Volta offers free level 2 and level 3 DC Fast Charging to its customers. It has a unique business model that differentiates itself from other charging companies such as ChargePoint and EVgo. It’s able to offer free charging by selling digital advertising on its beautiful charging station displays. It is in the process of merging with a SPAC (special purpose acquisition company) called Tortoise Acquisition Corp. II (NYSE: SNPR).
