Living in Northern California wine country, Ruby Williams ended up drinking daily to find relief from her stressful corporate job in the alcohol industry and to deal with her surly teen as a single mom. As an emotional eater, she gained over 100 pounds due to strains of a custody battle and home foreclosure. After weight-loss surgery her binge eating quickly moved to alcohol use disorder. She was burned out in the wine industry and couldn't figure out a way to stop drinking.Ruby started her alcohol free journey at age 49 after discovering Annie Grace's book, This Naked Mind. She no longer felt alone and this was the catalyst to her alcohol free journey. Now 5+ years alcohol free, Ruby is proud to have found her passion and purpose in life as an alcohol freedom coach!
