Kristy is a SurThrivor! After almost dying on her 31st birthday while training for a triathlon, then living for 20+ years with a progressive heart condition, in 2021 a selfless organ donor gave Kristy her 2.0 life. This experience not only provided her the opportunity to live a physically healthy life again but to look at all dimensions of wellness that contribute to good health. In her book Change of Heart, she lays out her Wellness Widget to give readers tools to look at their health in a different way.Kristy has spent 30 years in the staffing and recruiting business, living and working internationally. She is a Michigan native with a B.A. from Hope College. She and her husband, Dave, split their time between Southeast Michigan and Northern California.Kristy’s hobbies include travel, photography, fitness, and driving and admiring exotic and classic cars.
