In today’s episode, Christine MacMillan speaks with Heather Benjamin and Kami Bucholz about their new life with a baby and Heather's experience in the 4th trimester. Heather is a 39-year-old married woman in a same-sex, same-gender relationship. Heather has been in the social field for 15 years, primarily working in the last 7 years as a consultant in the Greater Boston Area. She and her wife Chief Mate Kami Bucholz have been married for almost 5 years now. Heather has added Mom to her list of accomplishments, just giving birth via c-section in November of 2022. Heather and Kami’s son was born on 11/8/22 after roughly 60 hours of labor via induction.
